From a single outlet in Kuala Lumpur,they grown to encompass over 70 (and counting) restaurants nationwide, distinguishing as the largest sushi chain of restaurants in the country.

Upscale restaurant that offers ALL- U- CAN- EAT buffet with full table service, focusing on quality rather than on price. The restaurant includes specialties such as Japanese, Chinese, Thailand, and other foreign or ethnic food. Tao restaurant with 300pax sitting capacity is catering for special occasions such as birthday, family gathering, anniversaries, banquets, special event, receptions and meetings.

Concept

They have introduced ALL U CAN EAT BUFFET in Penang since year 2006.The buffet concept offer somewhat unlimited service with customer’s food ordering from the menu provided at the table. With the unlimited choices customer can order any items from the menu and they can repeat order without any limits until to dinner satisfaction. The menu has more than 130 dishes to choose. Basically all the dishes will serve in small portion for every single order. This allows customers enjoy varieties of food from the menu. The management always will make sure the customer getting orders constantly without any delaying on food delivery by their well trained staffs.

About the owner and restaurant

Owner Mr. Jack Suen, a Taiwanese, he is from the Unites State of America, bringing his love of food and travel to Penang, Malaysia. Start up with 4 very seccessful restaurant business in USA since 1987 and now their first new born First-class world inspired Authentic Asian Cuisine since year 2006 in Penang, Malaysia. The very first Tao Authentic Asian Cuisine Sdn Bhd located in 1-1-5 & 1-1-6 Ground Floor E-Gate, Lebuh Kudin 2, 11700 Gelugor, Penang, Malaysia was born on 28th May 2006.

After 1 year establishment, the second restaurant Tao Authentic Asian Cuisine (Juru) Sdn Bhd was opened which is located at 1681-G1 & 1681-G2, Jalan Perusahaan Auto City, North-South Highway, Juru Interchange, 13600 Prai, Penang, Malaysia since 12th January 2007. And Now, they have brought forth to the Central the 3rd restaurant of Tao Authentic Asian Cuisine Sdn Bhd located at Sunway Giza.

The Tao Cuisine And Lounge is a beautiful and unique place. It's design is very nice and the layout is ownsome and in order.

The SOHO restaurant is one of the popular international restaurant where they have many branches all over the world. This restaurant provides excellent food and beverages to the community such as delicious western food and also various drinks. The environment of the business is unique. The customers of SOHO are not only from local customer but also foreigner. As we in interview the manager of SOHO restaurant MR. Romy b. Akhtar Ali mention that the shop has a lot of job opportunity and career growth for employees. As he work at the shop more than 10 years, he got a lot of experiences from the job and able to meet VIP's. According to him the disadvantage of the shop is expose with alcohol drink. However the advantages of the SOHO restaurant is there providing not only food and beverages, but also they provides entertaining services  such as events and also lucky draw for the customers.
